Evergreen Global Development, a 501c3 Oklahoma Corporation, partners with Evergreen Baptist Church, also a 501c3 Oklahoma Corporation, to provide safe, clean, and pleasant housing for missionary families returning on furlough from various assignments overseas. The missionaries serve with many different entities, and return for visits ranging from two weeks to many months.
Most families are kept at their foreign, in-country salary while back in the United States. This makes finding affordable housing very difficult. Evergreen Global Development is happy to provide housing for singles and families for little to no cost.
While families reside in the home, we help them connect with local churches and community resources, facilitate medical and other professional visits, and schedule opportunities for them to share their story and experiences in the community. Through our partnership with Evergreen Church, we can provide Christian fellowship, community, and even counseling.
